Ernesto Valverde didn't give any clues as to which players will be rested
He said the important thing is to win, not who does or does not play
One of the questions put to Ernesto Valverde ahead of Saturday's trip to Getafe was about rotations.
After starting La Liga with three wins and then following them up with a win against Juventus in the Champions League, Getafe could be a chance to give some other players minutes.
Asked about that, and if Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez could be included in the rotations, Valverde didn't give a lot away.
"If [Messi and Suarez] are untouchable?" he said. "We will see. It’s not about rotations but about trying to win.
“There are more than 11 players and we’re going to need everyone [throughout the season].
"We will see if Getafe is the moment, but with three games in a week, there could be some changes.”
Sergi Roberto, Paulinho and Javier Mascherano are among the players who may come into the line up for Saturday's game in Madrid.
