Pako Ayestaran annoyed by continued talk over Paco Alcacer

Pako Ayestaran was in no mood to talk about Paco Alcacer's pending transfer to Barcelona and has summoned the striker for Valencia's game against Eibar.

The 53-year-old has made it clear that Valencia have informed him that its suitable to play the Spain international while Shkodran Mustafi has been left out of the squad list, with his move to Arsenal all but confirmed.

"We call on Alcacer because he can play," Ayestaran said. "He's still a Valencia player. As for Mustafi, there is an offer that the club must now evaluate and transit information about it when deemed appropriate."

Ayestaran, who seemed somewhat annoyed by Alcacer's situation, declined to delve into the matter.

"We have to ask why Alcacer wants to leave the club," he concluded. "For now, it's sensible to call him up [for the Eibar game].

"This may all seem like a disaster but there are deals that are not rational. I can't say anymore."
