Urgent meeting between Dembélé and Borussia Dortmund to discuss his possible departure
The Borussia Dortumd manager confirmed that they will discuss his future this evening
The German club are looking for a replacement for a player who does not want to stay in the Bundesliga
Ousmane Dembélé's future could soon become clear. Borussia Dortmund have seen that they are in a hole with no way out other than to talk to the player to negotiate his departure. The German club's manager, Peter Bosz, has said to Sky Sports Germany that the club "was going to meet with Dembélé tonight and we will announce the decision".
As a result, if an agreement is reached, Dortmund could announce the player's transfer to FC Barcelona on Sunday. Barça have offered €90 plus €30 in add-ons. Dortmund initially rejected the offer but the player's attitude has forced their hand.
Dembélé refused to train with the club this week and was fined and suspended by Borussia Dortmund until Monday as a result. His manager does not want any more controversies. Therefore, Bosz will speak frankly with Dembélé this evening. If there is no change of heart and the player is maintaining his stance, he will be a Barça player soon.
