Unzue maintained his level, while Sampaoli, Valverde and Eusebio's chances dipped a bit

Who will replace Luis Enrique? There are various names in the pot, some stronger than others.

Juan Carlos Unzue and Ernesto Valverde are the front-runners for the job, but Sevilla's Jorge Sampaoli, Real Sociedad's Eusebio Sacristan, Everton's Ronald Koeman and Borussia Dortmund's Thomas Tuchel have also been mentioned.

SPORT will look, week by week, at the options and look at how they have been doing and how it affects their chances.

---------------------------------------

RISING

Ronald Koeman - Everton won 4-0 against Hull City, with two Lukaku strikes.

Thomas Tuchel - Beat Ingol Stadt 1-0 and closed in on the leaders. The coach said that at the end of the season he will announce his future.

TREADING WATER

Juan Carlos Unzue - Although Barcelona have left in four of their last five goals from set pieces, which is his area of expertise, he is still the favourite for the job.

FALLING

Jorge Sampaoli - KO in the Champions League by Leicester then a 3-1 defeat by Atletico in La Liga.

Ernesto Valverde - Has not decided if he will stay at Athletic or not, but defeat by Madrid did not help him rise.

Eusebio Sacristan - Real Sociedad lost to Alaves, 1-0 in La Liga.
