Unhappy Cristiano Ronaldo is considering leaving Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo is looking at the idea of leaving Real Madrid. The Portuguese forward may end his six-year era at the club in which he has been the leader, star and reference point. The exit of Carlo Ancelotti, his distant relationship with Florentino Perez, the unconditional support for Gareth Bale and the potential arrival of Rafa Benitez has upset the striker. He may look for a move to PSG, with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi interested in signing him. "It's a reality that we can sign him, we are capable of that," he told BBC sport. Morover, Manchester United have not ruled out re-signing their 'prodigal son', while Chelsea, according to the Daily Star, are able to pay €100million for the hitman, with Didier Drogba leaving. The 30-year-old Portuguese forward has plenty of possible destinations, if he is not to be part of Florentino's new project. A new coach will arrive with instructions to construct the team around Bale.

Contract until 2018

Ronaldo is tied down until 2018, but the club could open the door for him if he asks. His agent, Jorge Mendes, would be looking at the market to find an offer that can convince Perez. Ronaldo is still a key player for Madrid but if they recieved an irresistible offer, for around the €94m they paid United in 2009, they would be tempted to study it.

Cristiano has a cold relationship with Perez, a marriage of convenience. The player doesn't like the way the president has axed Ancelotti. He wanted the boss to continue next season. Neither does he like the lack of support he has received in tough moments, like when there was a controversy over his 30th birthday party, and in other moments. The president has also defended Bale over his form and deflected away transfer rumours, but has not done the same for the Portuguese. Cristiano feels he has not been treated equally, despite doing more than his team-mate. He scored 61 times this season, a personal record, and this despite the break up with girlfriend Irina Shayk.
