Umtiti: Barça are after a player with Ousmane Dembele's profile
Samuel Umtiti spoke to L'Equipe about Barcelona's interest in Dembele
He would welcome him at the club and would let him sleep at his house
Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti is with the France squad having ended the domestic season with FC Barcelona. After Monday's training session with the Bleus, he spoke to the media, including RMC who he explained how Luis Enrique convinced the players they could beat PSG.
Then with L'Equipe, the centre-back commented on a possible signing for Barcelona. The name of the player in question was Ousmane Dembele, who was wanted by the Catalan club last summer before eventually moving to Borussia Dortmund.
Umtiti said: "We get on really well. I know Barça are interested in his profile, but all the parties need to reach an agreement.
"Dembele would do well with us, with the quality he has he's capable of adding a lot. If he comes he will be welcome, but it still needs to be official to talk about that. If he comes, he can sleep at my house!"
The Barça defender laughed at that last point, before clearing up that he has not spoken with the Dortmund forward about a possible move.
