Trápaga, new signing for Gerard López's Barça B
The right back has signed for two seasons with the option of a third
He played for Villarreal's Juvenil A team last year and arrives on a free transfer
José Luis Trápaga has become a Barcelona B player after signing his contract today. The player himself beat the club’s media to the announcement of the signing, announcing it on Twitter.
The Cantabrian full back, 19, has signed for Gerard López’s side on a free transfer after leaving Villarreal in June. He has signed for two years with the option of a third.
Barça’s staff expect him to fit in well with the club’s style of play as he is a quick and hardworking full back with an attacking mind-set and lots of quality. He played for Villarreal’s Juvenil A side last year, although his decision not to renew his contract meant he was on the bench in the latter stages of the season.
This is the message sent by the player that confirmed his signing.
