Toni Freixa will not allow the 'Neymar pact'

A possible pact between Barça, the Attorney General and the State Attorney to shelve the case of Neymar has been met by huge conflict, including that of Toni Freixa.

The 48-year-old took to Twitter to vent his feelings surrounding the Brazilian's transfer to the Catalan club in 2013.

"The shame of the pact is that Barça remains a criminal, that is exactly what the Prosecution and State Attorney want. I won't allow it," Freixa wrote on Twitter.

SPORT has been told by the former Blaugrana director and spokesman that this decision doesn't apply to the Barça board but to the social mass of the club and, therefore, has asked for this matter to be discussed at an ordinary or extraordinary Assembly.

Even, if necessary, a referendum.

Freixa, who was a candidate for the last president elections in 2015, wouldn't ask to open any disciplinary proceedings against Josep Maria Bartomeu or Sandro Rossell nor solicit the repair of the economic damage caused.

He merely seeks, with his statement, to protect the interests of the Barça members.
