It is time for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen's graduation day

The Cathedral is an ideal place to graduate. Marc-Andre ter Stegen has passed his difficult exams to this date, in the Champions League and the Copa del Rey, but one challenge remains: to become Barcelona's starting goalkeeper in La Liga. The German will debut with this new status at one of the richest stadiums in La Liga: San Mames.

Ter Stegen could be intimidated, for the previous time he played there he let in four goals in the Spanish Super Cup last season. Barcelona lost 4-0 and one of the goals was a half-way line effort from Mikel San Jose. It's something that could mark a goalkeeper.

He let in seven goals in four league games afterwards, with Claudio Bravo injured, as Barcelona struggled. Another injury to the Chilean saw him feature at the end of last season, in tnense games against Espanyol and Granada. Ter Stegen finished the season with good sensations but it was not enough for him. He demanded to play in the league. Bravo had to go and Marc-Andre now has to show why the club bet fiercely for him.
