Angel Cappa believes that Luis Enrique has revived the values in Barcelona that had been lost.

"The team has recovered collectively, values that characterised them some time ago, and that had been lost through saturation," said the Argentine manager.

He means that Barcelona have played the same way for some time, but Enrique has revived it and given it new life

As for Leo Messi, Cappa says his circumstances have changed but his football vision is the same.

"Messi is a player that has a panoramic vision, bigger than the rest of the other players.

"He looks for the ball so fast and sees what happens around him, making passes.

"He has always done that but now he has inverted his numbers, making more assists than goals, but the result of the circumstances is that he has not changed."

Cappa explains that Messi, despite being a professional footballer, retains the amateur spirit that helps him be so good.

"Professional football's biggest flaw is that it makes the players turn professional, and Leo still has that spirit of amateur football, that he enjoys

"If he his happy and smiling like the rest of Barcelona, they will play much better."

As for the Messi-Neymar connection which has sparked into life recently, Cappa believes that it was always going to work eventually.

"Luis Enrique probably had something to do with it, but do not forget that Neymar arrived at a difficult time.

"It is impossible that two players like Messi and Neymar would not reach an understanding."

On the international commitments of the Argentine, Cappa advised caution.

"I think Messi should be more aware of his physical state. A player cannot play so many games for so many years. In unimportant games or friendlies he should not go."
