The truth about the 'Deulofeu Case' and Barça's chances of re-signing him

They can re-sign him from Everton for 12 million before June 30
FC Barcelona have still not taken any decision on the future of Gerard Deulofeu, SPORT have learned from sources at the club. Barça have the option, before Jun. 30, to re-sign the player (who belongs to Everton but is on loan at Milan) for 12 million euros. Barça sold Deulofeu to the English club (where he has a contract until 2018) for six million euros.
The 'Deulofeu Case' has three possible scenarios:
1.- Barça re-sign him for 12 million euros and add him to the first team. Deulofeu has matured as a player and personally (he's about to become a father) and could be an excellent addition to the squad, as and when is necessary for a replacement for Neymar, Messi and Suarez. This option depends a lot on the new manager. Luis Enrique and his team (among them, Juan Carlos Unzue, the best placed to be the next Barça manager) were the ones who requested to sell Deulofeu as he was not in their plans.
2.- Barça re-sign him for 12 million euros and sell him for more money. Deulofeu's value has increased since moving to Milan and re-gaining a place in the Spain squad -- even scoring against France. Barça would be able to sell him for around 20 million euros.
3.- Barça turn down their option to re-sign him. Barça must pay 12 million euros to Everton for Deulofeu. That's money that they need to invest in other areas of the team where it's felt more necessary. It's the least likely option, though, as the option to re-sign him is worth the effort and there are no other players on the market at such an affordable price.
For now, Barcelona have not decided on any of the three options because before making any moves they need to have a new manager. They have not appointed one yet, although Unzue is the favourite.
