Deulofeu may yet decide he doesn't want to return if not guaranteed minutes

Everton coach Ronald Koeman has already decided he doesn't want the winger

Barcelona will exercise their option to re-sign Gerard Deulofeu for 12 million euros, according to English newspaper The Times. In the report they say Everton coach Ronald Koeman is not interested in trying to keep the Spain winger around at Goodison Park.

The Times highlight the impression made by Deulofeu at Milan as one of the main reasons Barça want to take him back. While on loan in Serie A in the second half of the season, he scored four goals in an impressive 17-game stint in Italy.

Sporting director Robert Fernandez revealed several months ago Barça were looking into brining Deulofeu home. But in recent weeks doubts have emerged due to the player's desire to play regular football in a World Cup year.

Deulofeu is not convinced he will have enough minutes due to the presence of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in the Barça attack. Therefore, he will have to decide whether to return to Camp Nou or whether he will listen to other offers, such as one from Milan.
