The Italian coach could make a surprise exit from Stamford Bridge

Ex-Barça coach Luis Enrique is among the options to replace him if he does

Chelsea are thinking about Luis Enrique as a possible replacement for Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, if the Italian coach finally decides to leave the London club, according to The Telegraph.

The relationship between Conte and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has deteriorated in recent weeks, especially after the manager's abrupt way of communicating to Diego Costa that he could leave the club. The former Juventus boss, meanwhile, is upset with how slow the club have been in the transfer market.

Therefore, Abramovich is reportedly looking at potential replacements in the scenario that Conte leaves, with former Barça coach Luis Enrique among the candidates.

Conte and Chelsea are in talks over a new deal after winning the Premier League last season, but for now there's been no movement. Conte is currently on holiday, but remains in contact with the Blue's sporting director Michael Emenalo.
