The new Barça away kit for the 2016/17 season

Barça's away kit for the 2016/17 season has ditched the Catalan senyera design of the last campaign in favour of a more understated - but still interesting - choice by Nike.

Footyheadlines.com has provided details of how the new strip will look, featuring a deep purple base with dark blue sleeves and pink details. It's a similar colour to that of the Blaugrana's training gear for the past year.

Although the Catalan flag is not as visible this time around, it does still make an appearance on the back neck collar. The shorts are also purple while the socks are a dark shade of pink.

Like the home kit, there is no sponsor logo on the front of the shirt but Beko and UNICEF both appear on the left sleeve and reverse of the shirt respectively.

According to Footy Headlines, the kit launch is scheduled for July.
