The club plan to spend over 200 million euros to kick on next season

Verratti would be the central part of Unai Emery's new project in Paris

Paris Saint-Germain are not ready to lose Marco Verratti and to convince him to stay have offered him a new contract, worth around 12 million euros a season. They will also offer him a better supporting cast.

The Paris club, who have 220 million euros to spend on signings, are focusing on a number of players that would allow them to, hopefully, edge closer to their dream of winning the Champions League.

Unai Emery has on the table the positions which need stregthening this summer: a goalkeeper, a left-back, a defensive midfielder and, finally, an attacker. And PSG want to satisfy their coach's needs. In the goalkeeping position, they are interested in Ginaluigi Donnarumma and are negotiating with Milan.

A left-back, they're looking at a Borussia Dortmund player who has already proven himself in the French league with Lorient: Portugal international Raphael Guerreiro. And in midfield and attack, they're looking to raid Ligue 1 champions Monaco for two of their star players: Fabinho and Kylian Mbappe, the new star of French football.

All of those signing would cost around 240 million euros: 135 for Mbappe, 42 for Fabinho, 39 for Donnarumma and 23 for Guerreiro. That's slightly more than PSG have to spend, although perhaps still achievable.

It is true that in order to accommodate these players, others would have to leave, such as Jese, Krychowiak, Ben Arfa, Matuidi, Lucas and Areola.
