The advice given by Ronaldo to young prodigy Gabriel Jesus

Gabriel Jesus visited the home of Ronaldo Nazario in a meeting arranged by 'TVGlobo', to analyse the participation of Brazil in the Rio Olympics. At the Olympic Games, the Palmeiras striker will partner Barça star Neymar in attack.

The 19-year-old Gabriel Jesus was showered with praise by Ronaldo, who declared himself "a fan of his. I watch him and I see myself when I was younger." The 'Fenomeno' Ronaldo backs the youngster to be his successor: "I see the similarities. He is very young and already has had a lot of success and so much responsibility."

Ronaldo has been impressed by the player who has become a main target of FC Barcelona: "He has a footballing career ahead of him. We are already loving what he is doing".

Regarding the chance he may have in reaching the former Barcelona and Real Madrid striker's milestones: "If he passes all of my records, it means he will be giving happiness to this country's people, that have suffered so much."

Gabriel Jesus was provided with a valuable piece of advice from Ronaldo: "Play, be happy, enjoy yourself with the ball. Later, managers will ask you to do all sorts of things, but when you have the ball, enjoy yourself, try nutmegs, but always looking for the goal, which is what the fans like."

Turning their attention to the Olympic Games, Ronaldo reminded Gabriel Jesus that it is the missing title in Brazilian football: "Pressure exists and not only for the players that will compete in these Olympics, but for all those that have participated in an Olympics and could not win the gold medal.

It is a challenge to form part of history as being the first to get gold. I was not able to do it, nor anybody before. That title is lacking for us and now we have a great chance in Rio."
