Al-Khelaïfi is doing all he can to convince the Liverpool man

Paris Saint-Germain are trying to get in the way of Barcelona's move for Philippe Coutinho. There is already a tense relationship between the two clubs after the Ligue 1 side paid Neymar's 222 million euro buyout clause in the summer.

Liverpool playmaker Coutinho, wanted by both clubs, is now set to become a new point of tension. On Tuesday, French outlet Telefoot reported that PSG's sporting director, Antero Henrique, and the player's agent, Kia Joorabchian, met in London last week. It would confirm what SPORT reported a few days ago.

Taking advantage of the FIFA's The Best in London, the French club's representative met with Joorabchian to make a firm offer. As of today, Barça remains Coutinho's first choice.

However, PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is using all he can to try and seduce the player. In addition to throwing money at him, he also hopes Dani Alves and Neymar, personal friends of Coutinho, can help lure the Liverpool man to Paris.
