Suarez, Pedro or Rakitic? Which Barça line up would you pick for the Clasico?

Having skipped past Ajax, Barcelona can now think about the Clasico. Saturday's clash with arch-rivals Real Madrid has more at stake than just three points. As well as the historical rivalry, the winners can gain a mental and psychological edge that can help them open up an even greater gap in the league table. So speculation as to the starting line ups of both sides for the game at 6pm, on Saturday October 25, is rife. Will Luis Suarez start? Is Gareth Bale going to be fit?

Clues from Barca-Ajax

Marc-Andre ter Stegen played in the Champions League but clean sheet king Claudio Bravo is set to be restored in La Liga. Javier Mascherano has been playing in the pivot role and if Sergio Busquets is not fit, will do so again. Jeremy Mathieu and Xavi Hernandez were rested against Ajax. Furthermore, both Messi and Neymar were substituted to keep them fresh.

With Luis Suarez

One option is picking the front three we've been waiting to see since the summer. Neymar, Messi and Luis Suarez. If Sergio Busquets recovers then he could play in midfield with Xavi and Iniesta, with Mascerhano back in defence, while Alves and Mathieu would take the flanks.

Or with Rakitic

This second side, (based on the assumption that the condition of Sergio Busquets is good) could see Suarez used as a substitute, brought on when Real Madrid are tried. The absence of Gareth Bale may make Ancelotti fill the midfield, so having another central player in there could be useful for Barcelona. Andres Iniesta would advance to the left, while the Croatian and Xavi would give Barcelona more power in the centre.

There are many possible options for Enrique, which is aided by the fact that Mathieu, Rakitic, Iniesta, and Mascherano are very versatile.
