Barcelona star Lionel Messi has a new ally at the club. It's a connection which was on show against Eibar, with the Argentine scoring four goals.
Messi has a new 'friend' in Barcelona in Paulinho, who has demonstrated that he's adapted perfectly to Ernesto Valverde's system of play.
While Messi scored four, the Brazilian also scored for the second game running. However, in his first start for the club, he was also active in some of the other goals: a dummy led to Denis Suarez's goal and he set-up Messi's hat-trick.
After Messi completed his treble, he was on the floor, where Paulinho then assisted him back up, too, in a display of the relationship building between the two.
