EXCLUSIVE: Barça's shirt to take new direction
Barça's shirt will be squared instead of the traditional stripes
Barcelona's home shirt will be revolutionary in the 2019-20 season. The club have given the green light to a new design bu Nike and work is due to begin on the kits soon.
The shirt will not have the traditional vertical stripes. They will not be horizontal either, as they were a few years ago, but rather a squared design.
For the first time in history, there will be no lines on the strip (there's always been at least one, like the centenary kit).
Instead, Barça's home shirt will be squared, in a similar to design to the one worn by Croatia's national team, although it still will maintain the Blaugrana colours.
The news was broken by SPORT's Joan Vehils, through his Twitter account:
