Six games and 390 minutes later, Luis Suarez scores his first Barcelona goal

Luis Suarez has scored his first goal as a Barcelona player. The APEOL goalkeeper, Urko Pardo, became his first victim after conceding the goal that saw Barça go 0-1 ahead at the GSP Stadium in Cyprus.

It has been a long wait - Suarez's first goal arrives after 390 minutes and six games dressed in Blaugrana. His debut came in October against Real Madrid in the Clasico at the Bernabeu.

The goal was a golazo. It was straight from a striker's manual.

First, the control, then the perfect finish when one on one. Urko Pardo could do nothing to stop the Uruguayan opening the scoring after 27 minutes of play.

It had even more significance for Suarez as well. It was his first goal in the Champions League since October 2010, when he was defending Ajax's colours.
