In an interview he was given a suggestion of Pique president, Xavi general manager and him as coach

"It wouldn't be bad, eh?" said Busquets when asked about the idea

FC Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets joked about a future with team-mate Gerard Pique as president of the club, Xavi Hernandez as the general manager and him as coach of the first team.

In an interview with El Partidazo on Cope, the Barcelona player, currently with the Spain team for their games against Israel and France. 

Asked about his future when he hangs up his boots, he replied: “Today, I would like to end my career in the United States and later become a coach.”

He soon recalled Pique’s previous comments about being a future president.

“Pique president, Xavi as the general manager and you as the coach, for example?” he was asked. “That wouldn’t be bad, eh?” Busquets replied laughing. 

Later he spoke about the idea of Xavi as coach. “The idea, and everything he’s been through will help him a lot, but as he said himself, he’s forming there, in Qatar.

“He still doesn’t have his coaching badges so in the very near future it will be very difficult. He will definitely be a coach, one day he will arrive at Barcelona and he will get the opportunity and I hope it all goes well, if I’m playing or not, although it will be very difficult for me to still be playing.”
