Scolari wishes luck to Paulinho at Barcelona

Brazil international Paulinho is on his way to Barcelona, his coach at Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande Felipe Scolari said on Sunday, confirming reports in the Chinese media that the Liga side have paid the midfielder's 40 million euro buy-out clause.
"Paulinho is a player with high individual quality, an outstanding player, both for his club and for the national team The high price paid by Barcelona for him is a strong recognition of Guangzhou Evergrande," Scolari told a news conference after his side's 2-1 win over Henan Jianye on Sunday.
"We wish him all the best and that he can embrace a bright future."
Paulinho played under Scolari for Brazil at the 2013 Confederations Cup and the 2014 World Cup, joining him at Guangzhou in 2015 after a disappointing spell at Tottenham Hotpur.
He is set to be Barca's first signing since selling Neymar to Paris St Germain for a world record fee of 222 million euros.
