The centre back wants to see out his current contract according to 'Le Parisien' and isn't interested in a Premier League move

Samuel Umtiti is willing to see out his contract at FC Barcelona. The centre back isn't playing as often as he would like this season, mainly through injury, but he doesn't want to leave the club in the summer. Due to his knee problems, Clement Lenglet has established himself as first choice alongside Gerard Pique. This saw many teams declare an interest in the French defender should he decide to move on.

French newspaper 'L'Equipe' reported this Thursday that various Premier League and Serie A sides are keen on signing the centre back. However Umtiti has told his representatives that he doesn't want to listen to any offers. His current deal runs until 2023 and he has no intention of switching clubs before then.

Another French publication, 'Le Parisien', goes even further and states that Umtiti believes a move away would be a step down in his career. This is why he's told Barça to block any offers from him, whether they come from Manchester United, Juventus or Arsenal. Umtiti is valued at around €80m in the current market and his buyout clause stands at €500m.
