Ronaldinho: Golden boy Neymar will continue to make history at Barça

Ronaldinho Gaucho, former Barça player between 2003 and 2008 and one who marked an era of Barcelona's history, insists that his compatriot Neymar, captain of Brazil at Copa America, is on the way to continue Brazilian tradition at the club. Ronaldinho, who is still a friend of Lionel Messi, emphasised the fantastic development of Neymar in only two seasons at Camp Nou.

"He is on the way towards making history. When I arrived at Barcelona, the club hadn't won anything for a while. Barça wanted a change of fortunes and opened the doors to new success. Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Romario and already played for Barcelona and had left a gap for a Brazilian. Now I am sure that Neymar will continue this, and he will want to do it better than my generation," Ronaldinho explained at the Pele museum.

Ronaldinho went even further and was assured of the fact that Neymar will be the best player in the world. "Very soon Neymar will transform into the best footballer in the world. I am going to encourage him to reach this target. If he doesn't do it this year, it will be very soon."
