Barcelona's sporting director spoke about the difficulty of luring top talent

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez spoke about PSG midfielder Marco Verratti. Fernandez, without wanting to give names, said: "The players who have contracts are complicated and difficult situations. Barcelona have the obligation to be alert to the market and control it the best they can. Logically if they are good players, Barcelona should be looking out for them but there's a lot of time to go."
"We have time ahead of us. I don't want to be annoying and if we rush, we won't get anywhere. We have a magnificent team, and any player we want to sign will be an important player and they usually have contracts and are at good teams. Our intention is not to lose players but to improve the squad. We want those who are here and if we get the chance to improve, we will do so."
