The Barcelona duo were at Wembley on Sunday to watch Liverpool lose to Spurs

Even Jurgen Klopp is unable to say for definite what will happen with Coutinho in January

Barcelona's sporting director Robert Fernandez spent Sunday in London to watch Philippe Coutinho play for Liverpool during their 4-1 loss to Tottenham at Wembley.

SPORT caught Robert, along with scout Urbano Ortega, as he returned to Barcelona from the English capital on Monday after watching the Brazilian in action.

Robert and Urbano flew back on Vueling flight VY7823 at 9.45am (UK time) from Gatwick.

On Sunday, Barça took another step towards signing Coutinho, even though it was not the best day for the player or his team on the pitch.

Remember, after CEO Oscar Grau said there is money to sign the playmaker in January, not even Jurgen Klopp was able to rule out the possibility of the player leaving when the transfer window opens.
