The Catalans are going to take the issue to the TAD on Friday to try and get him cleared

Sent off in Malaga, the Brazilian was hit with an extra two-match ban

The RFEF appeal committee has rejected Barcelona’s bid to try and reduce Neymar’s suspension following his red card against Malaga.

He was issued a three game ban, one for the dismissal and two for sarcastically applauding the fourth official as he trudged away.

The committee met in Madrid and decided to ratify the decision made on April 10.

Barcelona have the intention of taking things further and asking the Tribunal for Arbitration for Sport in Spain, the highest court of justice for sports in the country.

If the TAD agree with Barcelona, Neymar will be able to play in the Clasico on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
