Barcelona star Lionel Messi didn’t have a happy ending to his stay in England. Not only did he leave the pitch having lost, but he had to pass through anti-doping, too, which delayed his exit from the Etihad Stadium.
And now, according to reports in Spain and England, he was insulted by a Manchester City player in the tunnel. In the end, according to apparent witnesses, Sergio Aguero had to intervene to calm things down.
Messi, the information claims, had responded by calling the City player “stupid” after being the centre of abuse after leaving the pitch following the 3-1 loss.
