Real Oviedo move to sign Barça's Marc Cardona on loan
The forward has just extended his contract at Camp Nou until 2021
Real Oviedo have made an offer to sign young Barcelona forward Marc Cardona on loan this summer.
Cardona, who has just signed a new deal with Barça until 2021, is second division Oviedo's top attacking target, according to Asturian paper La Nueva Espana.
The reports claims that Cardona has already told Barça he would like to leave on loan this season after the B team were relegated to the third tier of Spanish football.
Barça had an option to extend Cardona's deal before June 30 and they did it, ensuring that he remained linked to the club.
B team coach Garcia Pimienta would like him to continue with the second string but the player's people would prefer that he plays at a higher level.
Cardona would like to continue growing as a player and believes his interests are best served in a higher division.
