Barcelona want 10 million euros but Betis won't pay that much
Real Betis could be Cristian Tello's next destination. The Seville-based club have shown a great interest in signing the winger, who still has a year left on his deal with Barcelona. However, talks are complex.
Tello is happy to move to Betis. The return of Llorenc Ferrer to the club as sporting director has given them a new lease of life and the Catalan winger would be given an important role in Quique Setien's team.
Barça WANT 10 MILLION EUROS
The first problem is the money. While he still has a contract with Barça, the Blaugrana are asking for a transfer fee. The hope to get around 10 million euros for a player who came through the academy; Betis are trying to negotiate a lower fee.
For now, Tello is due back for pre-season training with Ernesto Valverde's side on July 12 as he waits for his future to be decided. Fiorentina, where he's spent tha last 18 months on loan, turned down an option they had to sign him for eight million euros.
