FC Barcelona executive Raul Sanllehi is at Fluminense's offices negotiating the future of attacking midfielder Gerson

SPORT revealed he was travelling to Brazil on Wednesday morning, with Brazilian publication Lance! since publishing an image of Sanllehi speaking on the telephone on the site of the Tricolor.

The Barça executive is in Laranjeiras to meet with Fluminense to talk about Gerson. He arrived at the club with the player's father, Marcao.

OFFER FROM JUVENTUS

Lance! Explained that the president of the Brazilian club, Peter Siemsen, has received a 16 million euro offer from Juve for Gerson.

However, there is an agreement in place for Barça to have first priority on the player, which has led to Wednesday's talks.

Juve's offer was pitched by Fabio Paratici, who does work for the Italian club in Brazil, at a meeting with Siemsen last week at the Fasano Hotel.

The Tricolor immediately informed Barça of the offer, who now have to decide whether to match it, but would prefer to wait until after the elections on July 18. Fluminense want an answer now.

Lance! point out that Barça have already put down a fee to secure the first option on Gerson.
