Raúl Sanllehí in London to talk Luis Suarez

The negotiations over the transfer of Luis Suarez from Liverpool to Barcelona could have now entered a decisive phase.

According to Rac1, Barca's director of football, Raúl Sanllehí, travelled to London on Wednesday to meet with Liverpool's Ian Ayre and begin conversations of the deal which could see Suarez move to Catalunya.

Reports on Wednesday morning in the British media suggested a possible meeting between both clubs was imminent.

The controversy which has surrounded the player in recent days, since he bit Girogio Chiellini at the World Cup and the four month ban which followed, could enable Barcelona to be able to negotiate his price down from the €80million the English side want.

Both Andoni Zubizarreta and Josep Maria Bartomeu have praised the Uruguayan for his public apology regarding his actions this week.
