Rafinha's mask being made to enable quick return to action for Barça

The Hispanic-Brazilian midfielder will have to wear a mask for the immediate future

Barcelona midfielder Rafinha is taking measures to be able to make a swift return to action. He's in the hands of specialists, who are designing a mask which he will wear in upcoming matches.

Rafinha broke his nose last weekend in Barça's win over Athletic Club at Camp Nou. It happened during an unfortunate clash with Marc-Andre ter Stegen. He also suffered a cut above his eye which required 12 stitches, but he's since made peace with the German goalkeeper.

After missing the midweek draw with Atletico Madrid, Rafinha hopes the mask will allow him to return to action in his side's upcoming games -- as long as his coach Luis Enrique feels it is convenient.

Joking on Instagram with Marvel Comics, he suggested he could be a character for them alongside a photo of him being measured for the mask.
