Rafinha and Ter Stegen make peace after unfortunate clash

The Barcelona midfielder was left with a broken nose and nasty cut on his head

Barcelona midfielder Rafinha has made peace with goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the changing room at the club's training ground on Monday after an unfortunate clash at the weekend.

A coming together between the two players left Rafinha grounded and he had to be taken off in the 53rd minute of the 3-0 win against Athletic Club. The Hispanic Brazilian had a deep cut on his head and it was also later confirmed he'd broken his nose

Rafinha, though, doesn't hold any grudges and posted a photograph with Ter Stegen to reveal that there's no lasting bad blood between the duo.

After spending Sunday at Neymar's 25th birthday party, Rafinha will not feature in the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. He's unlikely to feature against Alaves at the weekend, either.

However, sporting a mask, he will be available for the Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain next week.
