Rafinha taken off with bloodied head after Ter Stegen collision

Rafinha had to be substituted after cutting open his head in a collision with Marc-Andre ter Stegen during Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao.

The midfielder was treated by medics after his knee hit the Brazilian as they tried to scramble the ball away. They prevented Bilbao from scoring but Rafinha came out of the collision the worse for wear.

Ivan Rakitic was introduced for Rafinha after it was decided he could not continue.

Gerard Pique was also injured and Lucho said he hoped the pair could return on Tuesday against Atletico Madrid.
