Rafa Marquez says Jeremy Mathieu is wrong for Barça
The "Kaiser of Michoacan" doubts that Jeremy Mathieu is right for Barcelona.
As the tug of war continues with Valencia for the signing of the French defender, Rafael Marquez has spoken to RAC1.
"Mathieu doesn't have the Barca profile," said the Mexican when questioned about the arrival of the player.
Marquez, who was at Barca between 2003 and 2010, almost put his head in his hands when told about the price of €20million.
"For much less than that price," he said, recommending the club - and sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta - to think again about their target.
