RAC1: Jeison Murillo is the centre-back Barcelona want to loan
The Valencia man could join the Catalan club until the end of the season
Colombian defender Jeison Murillo is the centre-back Barcelona will sign in January, according to RAC1.
Murillo, 26, currently plays for Valencia but will join Barça on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season.
Valencia coach Marcelino has not given many minutes to the former Inter man this season and the club are willing to listen to offers.
There is also interest from Fenerbahce, but Murillo does not want to move to Turkey.
However, he is interested in a move to Barça, where he hopes to get minutes ahead of next summer's Copa America in Brazil.
Valencia paid 12 million euros to sign Murillo from Inter and he has a contract until 2022 at Mestalla.
Barça are looking for a centre-back to provide cover due to injuries to Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen.
