The Barça defender lives close to Plaça Catalunya and did not hesitate to go to help the injured

He went out with water and towels, which he used to give first aid and apply bandages

According to RAC1, Lucas Digne was one of the many anonymous heroes of the response to the terrorist attack in Barcelona. The Catalan radio station has reported that Digne attended to some of the injured minutes after the attack with a towel and some water.

Digne and his wife moved to the centre of Barcelona recently as he loves the area around Plaça Catalunya, near the scene of the attack. When he heard the news of the attack, like many other anonymous heroes, he went straight out onto the street to help the injured.

On 17 August, after his attempts to help, he used social media to send a message of support.
