Puigdemont signs three former Barça directors for Catalan elections
Jordi Monés, Maria Elena Fort and Magda Oranich are part of his team
Puigdemont has gone big on people in favour of independence
FC Barcelona will have a small representation in the Catalan elections on December 21. The former president Carles Puigdemont revealed the people who will make up his team for the elections, with three former Barça directors included.
Jordi Monés, Maria Elena Fort and Magda Oranich are the three among the 85 people who will form the sacked president's team.
Mones (No.61) was part of the Barça board until just a few weeks ago. But on Oct. 1 he resigned from his role due to the club's decision to play the game against Las Palmas despite what had happened on the morning of the game with police force used against voters in the independence referendum.
Carles Vilarrubi also stepped down from his role as one of Josep Maria Bartomeu's vice presidents due to the decision to play the game behind closed doors.
Meanwhile, Fort (No.23) and Oranich (No.76) were linked to the club during the Joan Laporta era.
