PSG's Marquinhos waiting for the call from Barça

After finishing his participation with Brazil at the Copa America 2016, Marquinhos is still waiting to know whether Barça's interest is firm or not.

The Brazilian understands that his move to Catalonia would be beneficial. As reported by 'Goal.com', Marquinhos feels at home in Paris but would not hesitate if a transfer to the Blaugrana becomes reality.

Barça sees him as an option to cover the central defence positions along with Samuel Umtiti or Mauricio Lemos.

Negotiations with the 22-year-old have already taken place, but agreement with his current club Paris Saint-Germain has not been reached.

And Unai Emery - recently appointed as the Parisiens' new coach - is unwilling to let the defender leave.

For now, Marquinhos is enjoying a deserved rest but it not unmindful of what may happen in the near future through his representatives if a move to Barça materialises.
