Marquinhos has put Barcelona on alert. PSG's Brazilian defender has reached a new deal despite the club's attempts to renew his contract which expires in 2019.
He has always been on Barcelona's transfer targets list and he spoke on Sunday to Journal du Dimanche. He explained the process of his contract renewal is going slowly and that he is not the only one which has a say in the issue. "It's something that doesn't depend on me, we will see what happens," he explained. "I feel part of the project but we have to see if the coach and president want me to stay. I have no rush. I have a contract until 2019. I'm a PSG player, I feel Parisian. I love the city and I know what the club has done for me."
As well as Barcelona, the 22 year old is wanted by big Premier League sides like Man United and Man City.
