While trying to keep hold of Marco Verratti, Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping on top of other matters, such as the future of Kays Ruiz, the youngster  who left Barcelona when they were hit with the transfer ban for the way they had signed international minors.

Kays Ruiz, who in August will turn 15, signed contract 'of promise' a few days ago, but according to L'Equipe, PSG are not going to stop there in their attempt to secure the player's future is in the French club.

Their intention is for the young midfielder to sign a professional contract as soon as he turns 16 to make sure he's not taken away from them by another European club.

PSG signed Kays Ruiz from Barça in 2015, taking advantage of the ban which was given to the Catalan club. Kays was one of nine players at the club who were affected and could not train or play at La Masia.

Nasser al-Khelaifi, the PSG president, got in contact with the player's parents to convince the jewell of French football to return to France and to sign for his club, not for Lyon, which is Kays' hometown.

Another player affected by the FIFA ban was South Koran forward Lee Seung-Woo, who is still at Barça. It could prove a key summer in his future, though, with uncertainty over who he will play for next season.
