Barcelona do not want to sign Eibar right-back Capa to cover Vidal

The club have ruled out a move for the 25-year-old for a number of different reasons

Barcelona are not interested in Eibar right-back Ander Capa, according to sources inside the club.

It's true that Robert Fernandez had been following the player's development, but finally there will not be any move to try and sign him.

The elevated demands from Eibar, who want the player's 10 million euro release fee, Barça's preference for a loan deal until the end of the season and the defeat in Paris have seen Capa disappear off the map.

Capa, 25, was one of the right-backs on the shortlist drawn up by Robert to replace the injured Aleix Vidal.

Vidal dislocated his ankle at Alaves last weekend and will not play for Barça again this season.

It leave Luis Enrique with just one fit right sided full-back -- Sergi Roberto -- until the end of the season.

And for the Copa del Rey final, that number will drop to zero, as Roberto is suspended following his dismissal against Atletico Madrid in the semi-final.
