Pique waxes lyrical about what it's like to play with Leo Messi

The Catalan defender quickly added that he enjoys his other team-mates as well

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique said on Friday, speaking on Facebook Live, that playing alongside Lionel Messi "is the hostia [the dog's bollocks]." He added that "obviously to play with the rest of players in the team is too."

Pique once again demonstrated the devotion is feels for Leo Messi, the best player in the world on five occasions. They've played together at senior level since 2008-09, when Pep Guardiola took over at Camp Nou.

Since then, they've both been a part of the best era in BArcelona's history, winning 24 titles in that time frame.

"I hope to end my career here"

Meanwhile, Pique also used the Q&A to answer a question about if he'd ever thought about leaving Barça: "The truth is that I've never thought about leaving Barcelona, I'm really happy, it's the club of my life, of my dreams. I hope to end my career here."

The defender has a contract until 2019 which was signed in 2014. On Feb. 2 he will turn 30 and, at this moment, his contract will run until he is 32.
