Pique trains as normal and in line to start against Atletico Madrid

The centre-back was taken off with a thigh problem at the weekend against Athletic

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique trained as normal on Monday at the Ciudad Deportiva in Sant Joan Despi and will start on Tuesday in the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid.

The centre-back was taken off at half time in the win over Athletic Club at the weekend with a pain in his thigh.

Pique then missed Sunday's recovery session but he returned to training on Monday morning ahead of the second leg against Atletico, which Barça go into with a 2-1 lead.

Barça boss Luis Enrique also, once again, had Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Lucas Digne training. They all returned to work last week but were not in the squad for the win over Athletic.

The only absentee was Rafinha, who did some work on his own after breaking his nose in an unfortunate clash with Marc-Andre ter Stegen during Saturday's game.
