Phillip Cocu hails Barca who "play in Luis Enrique's own image"

Phillip Cocu was at Camp Nou to watch Barcelona hammer Levante on Sunday and he was full of praise for Luis Enrique's side.

The PSV manager, who played for Barca between 1998 and 2004, told Barca TV that he is beginning to see Lucho's work reflected in the performances of his players — who are currently on an 11-game winning run.

"I really like this Barcelona side," Cocu said. "I see a team united in their work and full of individual quality. On top of that, they're really attacking.

"I think it's logical that Lucho will imprint his character on the team. Sometimes you need time to change things and the mentality of the team. The Barca that I have seen recently reflects the type of player he was."

Quini, Abelardo, Jorge Lorenzo and Danny Ainge (a scout for the Boston Celtics) were also present to witness another Barca win.

Ex-Blaugrana player, Abelardo, was also happy to praise the current side.

"Luis Enrique is very methodical and is he doing a great job," he said. "This team is playing better all the time and they will win titles. I speak often with him and he is loving working here."

Abelardo is currently in charge of Sporting Gijon and he was in Catalonia for their game with Girona, which ended 0-0 earlier on Sunday.
