Philippe Coutinho has now started to work with the ball

FC Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has started to work with the ball as he recovers from his injury that he suffered while at Liverpool.

The player's muscle injury means he will likely not debut until February. Coutinho trained on Friday at the club's training ground as he tries to get over the muscle problem in his right leg. 

Over the next few days he will try to get up to speed and he may be able to return to play Espanyol in La Liga at the start of February.
