Pepe Reina has again offered his services to Barça!

Pepe Reina is deperate to return to FC Barcelona, the club he left in 2003 to join Villarreal.

In the twilight of his professional career, the former Spanish international goalkeeper has again offered his services to Barça to fill the void that will be left by Claudio Bravo, who will shortly sign for Manchester City.

Reina has called the Catalan club directly, pushing himself as the best alternative to Bravo, ahead of Valencia's Diego Alves.

Reina, who has an excellent relationship with a large part of the Blaugrana squad (particularly with the Spain internationals and even coach Luis Enrique), would force his way out of Napoli and accept Barcelona's economic conditions of a lower wage.

Faced with the difficulties that they are encountering in bringing in Diego Alves, mainly due to Valencia's doubts over a transfer (Paco Alcacer is in the same situation), the Barça technical secretary department have not ruled out the option of incorporating Reina.

It is not the first time that Reina has offered his services to FC Barcelona.

He did the same thing last year, when Bravo's departure was also a topic of speculation, and even before the signing of the Chilean international captain.

Reina played at Villarreal for three seasons, before continuing his career at Liverpool, Napoli, Bayern Munich and then returning to the Serie A side.
