Barcelona's sporting manager spoke on SER Radio about the French winger

Pep Segura, FC Barcelona’s general sporting manager, analysed the situation of the French striker Ousmane Dembélé in an interview with 'Què t'hi jugues' on SER radio. "There is no problem with Dembélé," he said.

In an advance of the content from that interview the Blaugrana executive confirmed that he recently met with the representative of the French striker, Moussa Sissoko. "Yes, we had a meeting, just like yesterday I met with three other representatives, but it's normal, it's part of my job, they're natural things."

Segura explained: “Dembélé is very young and has never had to make an effort like the one he is doing now to adapt to Barça’s game. We recognise that it is hard for him and he also recognises it, but we’re working to change this situation as quickly as possible.”

Segura also referred to the talk he had with the Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal after showing his anger on social networks after he was benched against Tottenham and Valencia. He said: "I talked to him with a lot of players, and even though he could be wrong at a certain moment, his subsequent reaction has been exemplary, he has contributed all his football knowledge and passion to the team. It’s the result you look for when you talk to someone, accepting as a club that there are things that cannot happen.”
